My dad and I cracked our first case on Father’s Day and the cooperative tension was spot on — no deduction arguments, just pure teamwork figuring out the clues together. The 5-player cap is perfect since my brothers joined in without the game slowing down.
The cooperative 1-5 player setup is perfect for game nights with my dad, and the detective roleplay feels genuinely immersive without turning into a boring deduction puzzle. I love how we’re all working together to crack cases in the ruined city, and it’s kept us engaged for hours.
The post-apocalyptic LA setting is a nice change from the usual noir detective stuff. Even with just two of us playing, the cases feel meaty enough that we’re never just going through the motions, and the whole whodunit angle keeps things fresh.
