The face is way creepier in person than the photos, those hollow eyes really sell it. Wore it for a Halloween party and a few people actually jumped when I turned around. Fit snug over my head without sliding around all night.
The latex on this mask is thicker than I expected, and the pale stretched face looks just like the book illustrations. Wore it for a haunted house gig and it stayed comfortable through three hours.
My kid is obsessed with the Scary Stories books so I grabbed this for his birthday instead of waiting for Halloween, and the face seriously creeped out half the family. The molded detail around the eyes and mouth matches the book illustrations way better than I expected for the price.
