The mask looks creepier in person than the photos let on, which is exactly what I wanted for Halloween. The sculpt is based on scenes from the film, so the burned skin detail feels screen-accurate instead of cheap. Wore it for about two hours at a party and it stayed put.
The fedora actually fits my head without sliding around, which I wasn't expecting from a costume piece. The sculpting detail around the eyes and mouth really sells the whole thing in photos. My dad got a genuine laugh out of it on Father's Day.
The mask has that burnt, scarred texture down to the details, though the fedora runs a bit snug on my head. My dad got a kick out of it on Father's Day and it's staying up year-round now.
