The Hemlock Mask is a Tony Gardner original design first released by Alterian Inc. in the 1990's.

The paintwork on this mask really brings the hemlock design to life, and the sculpting has that handcrafted quality you can feel when you run your fingers over the ridges. It's solid enough to wear for a full evening without feeling flimsy, which is exactly what I was hoping for.
The sculpting detail is incredible in person, way beyond what I expected from photos. My dad is a horror buff and he hasn't stopped handling it, checking the texture and the way the light hits the face.
The paint job alone makes this worth every penny—the layered shading on the hem lock really brings the sculpt to life. I grabbed it as a gift and ended up keeping it for myself. The silicone edges blend seamlessly against the face, so it actually feels wearable, not just a wall hanger.
